Asus Launches Offer For Fonepad 7 Dual SIM Tablet in India

While the festive season is fast approaching in India, most of the tech firms are starting to provide offers on their devices. Apart from the offer that Canon is providing to the Indian consumers with its EOS 1200D DSLR, the Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus has also released its offer on one of its popular tablets - the Fonepad 7 Dual SIM.

Announced at the MWC 2014 earlier this year, Asus Fonepad 7 was launched in India in April this year at the price of Rs 12,999. It is available in stylish gray and charming white.

Now what's the offer? Asus will give a free stand over worth Rs 1,599 with the purchase of the tablet.

Asus Fonepad 7 Dual SIM: Key Specifications

The Asus Fonepad 7 runs on Google's Android OS and sports 7-inch display having a resolution of 1024 x 600-pixels.

It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom 2520 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage and a microSD card slot.

The slate also features a 2-megapixel rear camera as well as a VGA quality front-facing shooter. The Fonepad 7 is running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS with Asus' native Zen-UI slap on top.

The biggest highlight of the Asus Fonepad 7 tablet appears to its ability to support 3G voice -calling. Yes indeed, the tablet does support dual-SIM.

Connectivity wise, the new slate offers 3G supports, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, G-sensor, a micro-SD card slot, amongst others. The device also has a 3950mAh battery fitted inside.
