As Computex 2013 fair is approaching soon next week, the tech world is already anxious and excited at the same time to see new devices and innovations. There has already been a release of series of devices within this month but more are expected to come with extraordinary features in the Computex 2013. There are also rumors pointing towards several devices like 2nd generation Google Nexus 7 and others to be announced in the Computex 2013 fair.
One such device which has been rumored to be announced in the Computex 2013 fair is a successor of the Asus Memo Pad. Yugatech reportedly said that the upgraded Memo Pad version would be called Memo Pad 7 HD which possibly is an improved version of the affordable 7-inch Android tablet from Asus.
Talking about the specs the Asus Memo Pad 7 HD is rumored to come with a 7-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a pixel density of 210ppi. The tablet is said to feature a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor which will be supported by 1 GB of RAM. The tablet houses a 16 GB of internal storage capacity. Connectivity options in the tablet include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. Asus Memo Pad 7 HD will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform.
Although there are no confirmations about whether the quad core processor will be from MediaTek or not but it is likely to come with the same one if Asus wants the tablet to belong to the same decent price range that they offered before.
Unlike its predecessor which came in three color variants, Pink, Gray and white Memo Pad 7 HD will come in more colors options like black, white, blue, pink and yellow. The device is expected to come at $169 (Rs. 9,561 approx.) in the US market.
