Croma Launches Intel Powered Windows Tablet and 2-in-1 for Rs 13,990 and Rs 21,990

One of the popular chipset makers Intel has partnered with Indian retailer Croma and has come up with 2 latest devices running on Microsoft's Windows 8.1 OS. The generously priced devices consist of a 10.1-inch 2-in-1 PC with an attached keyboard attachment and an 8-inch Croma 1179 tablet. They are priced at Rs. 21,990 and Rs. 13,990, respectively.

These products are the cheapest ones that can be bought in India. Especially the 2-in-1 PC which comes with a very affordable price making it one of the cheapest PCs in the market.

However, if the specs of these devices are bothering you, you need not worry about it as well. It comes with pretty decent specs as well. First off, both devices will be powered by Intel Atom Z3735D 1.33 GHz processors, which is the Bay Trail T chipset. Other features that both the devices share is the feature to take in data dongles for connectivity on the go.

Croma 1179 Tablet: Key Specifications

The Croma 1179 is an 8-inch tablet featuring a 1280x800p display. The tablet runs Windows 8.1 operating system and is powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Processor Z3735D coupled with 2 GB of RAM. It sports a 2MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera and houses 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded using a microSD card. The device has a 5000mAh lithium polymer battery and supports Wi-Fi connectivity.

Croma 1172 2-in-1 Tablet/PC: Key Specifications

Croma 1172 2-in-1 is a 10.1-inch device that can be turned into a laptop by attaching a keyboard. This one is also powered by an Intel Atom Processor Z3735D, the device runs Windows 8.1 OS. It is 3G ready and features WiFi connectivity. Microsoft and Croma are positioning this one as a solution for those working on the move, since it does have a SIM slot. It also sports a 2MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera and comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.

The devices will initially be available only in Croma stores and their online retail site.
