Texas headquatered, computer technology company Dell has launched, two tablets for education purpose and a new variant of Chromebook. Dubbed as Venue 10, Venue 10 pro and Chromebook 11, it is available in US and other selected countries across the world starting this February 12.
Dell Venue 10 and Venue 10 Pro - Key Specifications
Both the Dell Venue 10 and Venue 10 Pro shares same specification except the OS. Dell Venue 10 comes with Android Lollipop while the Dell Venue Pro runs on Windows 8.1 and will be Google Apps for Education certified. Also both the tablets runs on Intel Bay Trail M processor.
Moreover, the Venue 10 line sports a Full HD 10.1 inch screens and supports 10 hours of battery life. Additionally, both is equipped with microSD and full-size USB ports inspite of microUSB charging port, NFC.
While the price of the Dell Venue 10 is not announced, the Venue 10 Pro tablet comes in a price range of $330, or $380 (approx Rs. 23,598) with keyboard and can be availed at Dell.com, from March 3, 2015.
Dell Chromebook 11 - Key Specifications
Apart from tablets, the company also unveiled Chromebook 11, sporting an 11.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The Chromebook 11 is powered by a 2.16GHz Intel Bay Trail-M Celeron processor. It comes in two variant mainly 2GB/4GB. On the storage, it is equipped with 16GB of built-in memory. Moving to the cost, the 2 GB RAM variant contains the price tag of $249 (approx Rs. 15,469), while the 4 GB RAMvariant comes at $299 (approx Rs. 18,575). It is available exclusively on Dell.com starting February 12, 2015.
