Flipkart Digiflip Pro XT712 Tablet Launches At Rs 9,999

As expected, India's popular online retailer Flipkart has today officially launched its first tablet device called the DigiFlip Pro XT712 in the native market at the price of Rs. 9,999. It is being offered in Black and White color variants and the company says that it is the first one in the DigiFlip Pro Series. The tablet will start selling from today itself.

Flipkart is also offering a number of shopping benefits of worth Rs. 5,000 and free eBook worth Rs. 2,000 with the tablet. Moreover, the company is also offering 1 year warranty with the device. The customers will have to shop from Flipkart via company's mobile application from tablet to redeem the offers.

Since this is the first time the online retailer has come up with its own product, most customers might be worrying about the after sales services. However, to sooth them, Flipkart has also mentioned about a "hassle free service assurance," in the press release.

Moreover, Digiflip Pro X1712 buyers will also get a free Bluetooth headset worth Rs 1,199, 50% off on Digiflip book cover, and one month free subscription of Flipkart First service as well.

The advent of the DigiFlip Pro tablet from Flipkart is somewhat a threat to Amazon which has a wide range of similar products as well. However, if specs of the latest product is concerned, its not much like a flagship device.

DigiFlip Pro XT712: Key Specification

The tablet comes with a 7-Inch IPS display which offers an HD resolution of a 1280x800pixels and comes with a metallic body measuring 9.2 mm thick and weighs 285 grams. The latest tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK8382 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS.

It comes with 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot that can be expanded by an additional 32GB. The Flipkart Digiflip Pro XT712 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera as well.

Connectivity options include 3G support, voice calling, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. And also add a dual-SIM card slots. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery which the company claims to offer a talktime of 8-hours.

The latest entrant in the tablet race will surely become one of the tablets that will compete against most of the affordable Indian tablets that are available in India.
