Flipkart's New DigiFlip Pro Tablets With Intel Atom Chips Launched in India

The massively popular online retailer - Flipkart has today unveiled its latest range of tablets in the Digiflip Pro series. In fact, the company in partnership with chipset maker Intel announced 5 new tablet devices viz. Digilip Pro XT911, Pro XT901, Pro XT811, Pro XT801 and Pro ET701.

Talking about the pricing , according to Flipkart, the Pro XT911 and Pro XT901 will retail for Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 13,999 respectively. On the other hand, the XT811, XT801 and ET701 will be available for Rs. 10,999, Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 5,999 respectively. All these devices will start selling from Flipkart from today itself, from 1:30 PM onwards.

Since, the tablet is a joint venture between Intel and Flipkart, all these devices come powered with Intel processors. Although, all these devices come with a Jelly Bean version, Flipkart has stated that all the tablets will get Android 4.4 KitKat update soon. The company didn't reveal the exact time frame.

DigiFlip Pro XT911 and Pro XT901: Key Specifications

The DigiFlip Pro XT911 and XT901 sport a 8.9-inch 1920x1200p IPS display. They are powered by a 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The tablets also comes with 16GB of on-board storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and 6500 mAh battery.

The only difference between the two tablets are the presence of 3G and voice-calling support on DigiFlip Pro XT911 and the Digiflip Pro XT901 is just the Wi-Fi only variant of the XT911.

DigiFlip Pro XT811 and Pro XT801: Key Specifications

Both the tablets come with an 8-inch 1280x800p IPS display and is also powered by 2GHz Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor and Android 4.2. Other specs include: 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 4200 mAh battery, 3G and Wi-Fi support.

Again the DigiFlip Pro XT801 is just the Wi-Fi only variant of XT811.

DigiFlip Pro ET701: Key Specifications

The DigiFlip Pro ET701 is the cheapest one in the series and thus comes with a 7-inch 1024x600p IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The tablet also features 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 2800 mAh battery, 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front shooter. The Pro ET701 supports Wi-Fi and 3G via USB dongle.
