The Indian tablet market is seeing a plethora of voice calling tablet launches since debut of this fiscal year. Manufacturers like Micromax, Karbonn, Videocon and more have come up with their latest offerings at attractive budget price point.
Going on the same lines, one of the infamous tech vendor based in India, Go Tech who aims to achieve a strong foothold in the market is also planning to launch a couple of calling tablets in the coming months. From the information revealed by an inside source from the company, Gizbot has exclusively acquired the information that Go Tech is planning to launch FunTab 2G+ Talk on April 17 and the tablet will be priced at Rs 6,499.
As far as specifications are concerned, the source revealed that FunTab 2G+ Talk will come with 7 inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, dual core 1.2GHz Boxchip A13 Cortex A8 processor, Android 4.0.3 ICS, 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, 3G via dongle and a 3,000 mAh battery.
Further, the inside source also disclosed that the FunTab 2G+ Talk will come with freebies including a cover pouch and hands-free.
Well, that is not all, as besides FunTab 2G+ Talk, Go Tech will also be launching a dual SIM tablet dubbed as FunTab Duos in May. As of now, there is no information on the specifications of the tablet, but the source clued that it be launched at a price less than Rs 8,000.
