The latest news comes from Android Geeks who got in touch with one of the company's Dublin employees to check if the next version of Android would be revealed at the event or not. The source reportedly said that alongside the Nexus 8 tablet, Android 4.5 will also be unveiled in July. Thus this year we might be looking at the 8 inch Google Nexus tablet.

The name of the version is not yet disclosed. But since all the Android version's name's starting letter fall in sequence like the G in Gingerbread, H in Honeycomb, I in Ice Cream Sandwich, J in Jelly Bean and K in KitKat, speculations based on this reasoning does allow us to say Ladoo or Lassi could be the new iteration this time.

No information pertaining to the hardware supplier has been disclosed so far, it could be Asus, LG, Samsung or event HTC.
