Google Nexus 8 Spotted on I/O Webpage: Top 5 Rumors You Should Know

Nexus 8 Spotted on Google I/O website

Not surprisingly, the purported Nexus 8 has been leaked ahead of its original release date. Google I/O is taking place in the month of June, and one of the hotly anticipated device, the Nexus 8, could be announced in the same developer conference. The Google I/O banner was recently posted on Google's website, and it looks like they have apparently leaked an unknown tablet much before the expected launch.

Going by the above screenshot, one can clearly see a new tablet with altogether different styling. If anything is to be considered, the tablet is reminiscent of HTC's school of design. For the time being, there's no more information available about this mysterious tablet.

Rumors have it that Google is preparing a 8.9-inch premium looking tablet to battle against Apple iPad Air. If the Nexus 8 is real we could possibly see the tablet at this year's Google IO developers conference. Google first unveiled the Nexus 7 in 2012, and latter announced the improved version last year. Both tablets were manufactured by Taiwan's Asus.

We really don't know whether Google is planning a new tablet, as sales of 7-inch tablets have been down lately. Meanwhile, let's take a look at top 5 rumors surrounding the Nexus 8.
