Google Nexus 8 Spotted Via Indian Import Export Data Website
The Nexus 7 is a year old now, and many expected Google to announce the third-gen tablet at Google I/O 2014 last month. Well, that didn't happen but gossip mongers have once again started speculating about the forthcoming tablet under Nexus program.
Although a 7-inch display seems out of the radar, but if industry insiders are to be believed Google may introduce an 8-inch Nexus tablet with a powerful processor under the hood.

The latest Nexus 8 tablet leak suggests that the rumored tablet has been spotted on the Indian import tracking website Zuaba. Yes, you heard that right! According to a latest report by GSM Arena, the prototype of the tablet has been shipped to India for testing purpose.
Moreover, a couple of units of the Nexus 8 have been shipped to India with each valued at Rs.16,484. However, the listing does not provide an accurate information about which manufacturer is producing the tablet. Additionally, GSM Arena claims that since the prototype tablet comes from the US, the slate might be from Google instead of some manufacturer.
Earlier there was speculation that the next-gen tablet might be called Nexus 9 but if one consider the current listing at Zauba it might be the Nexus 8 itself.
Of lately it was reported that HTC will manufacture the Nexus 8, instead of Asus. Based on the rumors so far, the next tablet from Google will come from HTC, dubbed Nexus 8.9. The high-end tablet would have a generous 8.9-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600-pixels. It is said to be powered by a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board memory, an 8MP rear camera, a 3MP front-facing shooter. A recent rumor claimed the device to feature a 5GB of RAM fitted inside.
So far there's nothing official about the device. The above mentioned leaks are solely based on rumors, leaks and speculations. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
