Google Nexus 9 Tablet Gets Listed on Play Store in India Along With Pricing

Google announced its new Nexus line-up - the Nexus 6 smartphone and the Nexus 9 tablet just a couple of days ago. The company didn't unveil the devices via any special event as such but simply mane it official via a blog-post.

The Nexus fans are all around the world and especially for the Indian fans, here is a news that might get you excited already. The Nexus 9 tablet built in collaboration with HTC has already been listed on Google Play store in India along with the price tag.

The price for the 16GB Wi-Fi only version is listed as Rs. 28,900.The 32GB Wi-Fi only version will not be coming to India, apparently. The Nexus 9 LTE version will also come to India with the 32GB on-board memory. The pricing is rather steep at Rs. 44,900.

The Google Play store only lists the Black variant of the Nexus 9 tablet. If you are not aware, the device was launched in 3 color options viz. Indigo Black, Lunar White and Sand.

Google Nexus 9: Key Specification

The HTC-made Nexus 9 sports an 8.9-inch screen with a resolution of 2048 x 1536-pixels. The display has a ratio of 4:3 as opposed to 16:9. Google is giving special emphasis on the Nexus 9's internal hardware.

The Nexus 9 is powered by a 2.3GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra K1 (64-bit) processor, paired with 2GB of RAM. Google Nexus 9 tablet runs Google's latest Android 5.0 lollipop mobile operating system, which the company demoed earlier this year.

In the imaging department, the Nexus 9 tablet offers improved dual-cameras. There's an 8-megapixel camera given on the rear, and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing shooter for video chat.

HTC has also added its BoomSound speaker technology to this tablet for superb sound. Overall, the tablet seemed to have impressive specs, featuring HTC's trademark design. According to Google, its 6,700mAh battery lasts up to 9.5 hours on a single charge.

At the moment, the Nexus 9 tablet, which is powered by a monster processor is under coming 'Coming Soon' tag. But since it has been listed on the store already, you can expect it to goon sale sooner than later.
