Huawei Unveils 7-Inch X2 Tablet With Octa-Core Processor, Coming to India Soon
Huawei added a new device to its tablet lineup. The Chinese company, today unveiled the X2 tablet at the premium SEA event in Bangkok for the Asian countries.
The X2 tablet sports 7-inch display with 1920x1200 Full-HD IPS display counting at 323 ppi featuring 10-point capacitive touch. The tablet is powered by a 64-Bit octa-core Kirin 930 SoC at 2.0GHz clock speed and is paired with 2GB / 3GB RAM. The X2 will run on Android 5.0 operating system along with Huawei Emotion UI 3.0.

The tablet holds a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, featuring back-illuminated sensor, f/2.0 28mm wide-angle lens, refocus, off-screen snapshot and focusing photometry. It also comes with 5 megapixels front-facing camera with 22mm wide-angle lens at f/2.4. The camera can capture up to 1080p full HD video recording.
The X2 is packed with 5000 mAh lithium polymer battery that takes around 3.5 hours of charging time and comes with feature like reverse charging function. The company claims to last up to 500 hours of standby time.
Furthermore the X2 tablet will be available in 16GB / 32GB internal memory versions and comes in Moonlight Silver and Amber Gold color options. At the connectivity front, the tablet comes with 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, dual-SIM with 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth: 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0, AirSharing and Wi-Fi hotspot. The company has not yet disclosed the price and availability in India, but it is expected to be available pretty soon in India.
