iBall Slide 3G17 Tablet With Dual SIM and 3G Support Now Available at Rs 7,649
Indian smartphone vendor iBall has already launched a number of budget tablets and smartphones and yet again the company has launched its latest 7 inch device called the Slide 3G17. The tablet is in fact launched via a third party online retailer Snapdeal at the price of Rs. 7,649.
The latest tablet is very much similar to the company's previously launched iBall Slide 7236 2G. However the difference is that Slide 3G17 comes with a 3G connectivity.
Moving into the details of the tablet, it comes with a 7-inch capacitive 5-point multi-touch display offering a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core Cortex A7 processor coupled with very low 512MB RAM and Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) comes out of the box.

In the imaging aspect, although the camera is pretty much incompetent, the company has managed to offer at least a 2MP rear camera with flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing shooter. Thus video calling wouldn't be a problem.
The latest Slide 3G17 houses 4GB native memory of which only 2GB user accessible, but it is expandable with microSD to 32GB.
Connectivity options are pretty regular with 3G HSPA+21 (via SIM card slots), WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Moreover, the company is also offering a Dual SIM with dual standby support to the device and the 3G service can be used via SIM card. It is powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
The device is pretty good in terms of specs and the fact it has so much to offer in such a low price is not a bad impression from iBall. However, there are a number of tablet devices available in the same price range and are quite competitive in terms of specs. Among all Oplus XONPAD 7, Swipe Velocity Tab, XOLO QC800 Tablet and Lava E-Tab iVORY Tablet are very much potential competitors against the latest iBall tablet.
