Mumbai based, affordable smartphone and tablet maker, iBall has launched its Slide Brace X1 tablet in the Indian market, which was listed, in the official website few weeks back. This tablet comes with dual chambered speakers that promises load and clear sound. Moreover, this 10-inch tablet supports dual SIM support and 3G connectivity.

iBall Slide Brace X1 - Key specifications

iBall Slide Brace X1 sports a 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch IPS display with 1280 x 800 Pixels. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-Core ARM Cortex A7 processor along with 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal memory with an expandable option of up to 32GB via microSD card. It also comes with dual chambered speakers that promises sharp and clear sound.

During Slide Brace X1 launch, Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director iBall said, "We are excited to present iBall Slide Brace X1. Octa core, exclusive design, 2GB Ram, 16GB built in, HD IPS Display, Dual chambered speakers. All make it a very exclusive and exiting product for any user".

Moving on to the imaging factor, it is equipped with 13MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Moreover, it supports connectivity such as 3G (Voice calling via Hands-free) WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth, micro USB and powered by a 7800mAh battery.

Coming in Silver variant iBall Slide Brace X1, it is available through the leading stores and retail outlets across India at a price tag of Rs. 17,999.

On the other news, according to International Data Corporation (IDC) report, iBall has topped the Indian tablet market in the fourth quarter (October-December) of 2014, dislodging South Korean giant Samsung. As per the recent report, iBall had the maximum market share with 15.6 percent followed by Samsung (12.9 percent), Datawind (9.6 percent), Lenovo (9.4 percent), and HP (8.7 percent) while others had 43.8 percent.
