Back in January 2013, the tech media world was swriling with reports, which pointed that the Apple's 5th Generation iPad, would come sporting a new design with narrow bezel chamfered edge corners, resembling more to the iPad Mini look. Reportedly, it was also predicted that the next generation iPad will only be 7.2 mm, thick and would feature a new A6X processor.
Coming back to the present, there are reports citing sources close to the matter, saying that the production for next-gen iPad 5 might commence in July or August. Nowhereelse.fr have even managed to their hands images of what appears to be the bezel of the fifth gen iPad. The leaked image does give a tick mark to the previous rumors abut the bezel being narrower. One glance of the image, you can notice the framework having similarities to that of the iPad Mini.
The new iPad 5 is said to be easier to carry around, due to its distinctive size difference from the others. Gizbot has done a comparison of iPad 5 Render vs iPad 4 vs iPad Mini, click here to read more.
Last year, there were rumors suggesting that the iPad 5 would be launched in March and then was said to happen in April. These rumors have already been, proven wrong. Anyway, there is no telling, whether the new rumors and the image leak are legit or not. Guess the wait needs to continue until the formal announcement from Apple.
