Karbonn is one of the companies that launch their offerings online frequently. After the launch of S1 and S5 Titanium online, the native handset vendor has now come up with a dual SIM tablet - TA-Fone A37.
The latest tablet in the Smart Tab lineup has been launched via online retailer and popular deals website Snapdeal at a price of Rs 9,490. It seems like Karbonn has decided to fight back all the dual SIM tablets that have been launched so far with the TA-Fone A37.
Have a look at the specifications of the TA-Fone A37 from the listing on Snapdeal.
Display: TA-Fone A37 packs a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
Processor and Storage: TA-Fone A37 is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor and comes with 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage.
Operating System: TA-Fone A37 comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS out of the box.
Camera: The Karbonn tablet has a 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera as the other budget offerings.
Connectivity: TA-Fone A37 comes packed with connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth GPS and micro USB 2.0.
Battery: As the other tablets, TA-Fone A37 is loaded with a 3,000 mAh battery of undisclosed backup.
Analyzing these specifications, it is clear that Karbonn TA-Fone A37 is meant to compete with the other dual SIM tablets available in the market including Penta T-Pad WS708C and Swipe Halo Value launched in March.
Specwise, the Pantel and Swipe offerings could be the same as the Karbonn offering, but they come at lesser price tag of Rs 6,999, thereby making the Karbonn TA-Fone A37 relatively more expensive.
