E-Tab Xtron Against Market Dominators

Being the first Jelly Bean based Lava device, E-Tab Xtron comes with a good spec sheet and is quite impressive considering its price. While there are very few 7 inch Android Jelly Bean offerings in the country from homegrown vendors, the Lava offering might create great hopes for the company. The Indian tablet space might be highly dominated by global vendors - Samsung and Applel, apart from Micromax and other India based manufacturers, however, E-Tab Xtron has enough features to claim it is one of the best offerings in the market currently.

E-Tab Xtron has a stunning and elegant design flaunting an aluminum back panel that gives a rich feel, makes it durable and easy to clean and maintain. The ergonomic design makes it a stress-free use and the user can carry wherever they go.

IPS Display

The bright 7 inch 1024 x 600 pixel multi-touch display coupled with an innovative design makes it ideal for reading books, playing games and watching video more vividly owing to its great viewing angles which uses the IPS panel technology. IPS display technology resolves the limitations including relatively slow response, small viewing angles and low quality color reproduction.

Dual Core Processor

ARM Cortex A9 processor is power efficient and offers high- performance in low power or cost sensitive devices. The processor is used in smartphones, tablets, digital TV, consumer and enterprise applications to ensure a connected life. The dual core Cortex A9 processor offers an overall performance enhancement of above 50% as compared to the previous versions of the chip. Hence, the dual core processor used in Lava offers efficient performance despite of being priced competitively.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS

This the first time, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean launched in June 2012 is being incorporated on a Lava device. The platform has new features including Project Butter for smoother and more responsive interface, expandable and contractible notifications, resizable app widgets, live wallpaper preview, high resolution contact photos, improved Android Beam, better camera interface and improved Google Now. Hence, the E-Tab Xtron tablet will offer a superior user experience to the consumers.
