Lenovo, one of popular PC players, today announced a new form of PC+ technology- IdeaPad Flex 10. Flex 10 is an ultraportable 10.1-inch dual-mode mini notebook PC that flips 300 degree from laptop to stand mode, making it a perfect device for work. Designed for flexibility, the new 2-in-1 laptop device makes it easy for users to interact with their laptops by using simple, intuitive gestures directly on the 10-point multitouch display, optimized for Windows 8.

The device is priced at Rs. 25,990 onwards (inclusive of taxes) and is available at all Lenovo Exclusive stores, Multi-brand outlets, Large Format Retail stores and thedostore.com.

Talking about the specs, it comes with a 10.1-inch HD (1366 x 768) display. It is powered by Intel Quad Core Pentium N3510 processor and runs on Windows 8 OS. There is storage unit of up to 500GB and Integrated graphics as well. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.02 and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi connectivity along with USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and HDMI-out connectors. Also a 720p HD webcam to stay connected with friends and family through video chats can be found in the convertible notebook. It measures 273 mm x 188.5 mm x 21 mm and is powered by a battery capable of providing up to 4 hours life for productivity and entertainment on the go.

Other features you can find in the device include a greater accuracy and ease-of-use with the 10-point multitouch display, optimized for Windows 8, Lenovo VeriFace Pro for fast and secure login, Stereo speakers, AccuType keyboard with individual rounded keys for comfortable and accurate typing, and One-piece multitouch touchpad for easy scroll and zoom functions.

The new Flex 10 is competitively priced and measures only 17.3mm (0.68-inch) thick and weighs just 1.2kg (2.6 lbs). The device is equipped with Lenovo Energy Manager that protects the long-term durability of the battery and uses advanced energy-saving technology to increase the gap between charges. Thanks to its Veriface Pro, users can now log in without typing on the Flex 10, the face recognition software enables the users to log in with the help of the integrated webcam.
