Lenovo ThinkPad Twist Launched in India to Put New Spin on Small Business Computing at Rs 71000

Last year, back in October, Lenovo announced new family of four convertible devices designed for Windows 8/RT exclusively. Thee touch-optimized family included the IdeaPad Yoga 13, Yoga 11, IdeaTab Lynx, a premier dual core Intel Atom-based tablet, and for professionals, the ThinkPad Twist, a business-ready device to put a new spin on the traditional convertible tablet.

Well, the good news is, in a recent development, Lenovo India has launched the last but very creative tablet-laptop hybrid in India at a price of Rs 70,000. Yes! You guessed it right! Its Lenovo ThinkPad Twist. According to the company's press release, ThinkPad Twist makes it easy to choose one affordable device that can do it all. "Use it as a full-performance Ultrabook, and then twist the top to switch to a convertible tablet."

Key Specs

The 12.5-in ThinkPad Twist boasts 350nit IPS display and packages up to 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processors, up to Windows 8 Pro, optional 3G3, large storage up to 500 GB or 128 GB SSD and the ThinkPad-brand's legendary keyboard and quality and reliability features.

Lenovo claims a nearly all-day battery life and tablet-like quick resume from standby. Furhter, ThinkPad Twist also includes dedicated software tools specifically for small business including Lenovo Solutions for Small Business powered by Intel Small Business Advantage and Lenovo Cloud Storage by SugarSync.

Additionally, ThinkPad Twist also includes Dolby Home Theatre audio, mini-HDMI or DisplayPort jack, USB 3.0, 4GB RAM, 2-megapixel web camera and multi-card reader.
