LG has had a lot going for them recently. It is already in news with the unveiling of the new LG G Pro 2 phablet, and now it seems like the company is back in the helm with reports of a brand new leaked tablet in the form of the LG G Pad 7.0.

According to reports, fresh images of the LG G Pad 7.0 has been leaked via French website FrAndroid before its eventual official launch. And if you remember correctly, the device was announced earlier this month as the smallest tablet in the G Pad series. The G Pad series also has G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1 associated to it.

Speaking from whatever has been gathered from the leaked images, the LG G Pad 7.0 is set for a fresh look and design. But instead of metal, it seems like LG has chosen a plastic body for the tablet, rather than what it had offered for its predecessors.

The tablet also looks quite thicker in size, which is quite the surprise, considering most of the makers in the market are trying to make devices as light as possible with the growing competition.

Moreover, LG has also shifted the placing of the speakers on this tablet with the new position being at the rear bottom part of the device. The problem here is this positioning could cover up the speakers at the time of handling. And more so since at the time of announcement, LG had stated that the G Pad 7.0 (although a tablet) can be held in one hand.

Apart from that, the tablet also has a micro SD card slot on the top, next to 3.5 mm audio jack. Going by what the previous leaks had to say about the device, the G Pad 7.0 will sport a 7 inch screen rendering 1280×800 display. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 400 processor, alongside 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
