LG Nexus 8 Leaks As LG V510 Tablet: All That We Know So Far
Google branded LG manufactured Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 have already dented the smartphone market with their remarkable specifications available at attractive prices. Now it looks like both the tech giants are looking forward to launch their collaborated next flagship device in the form of a tablet. Yes! You heard it right, we are talking about the successor of Nexus 7 and Nexus 7 2013.
Reports have just come in that Google is preparing the successor tablet Nexus 8 along with LG to launch in 2014. The information has been leaked by Twitter sensation @evleaks, whose newest tweet informed that "V510 is indeed a Google Nexus device."
The tweet clearly shows the listing from an inventory manifest, where LG V510 is listed under Google in a 16GB variant (16G), said to be available in a black color (BK), and it is coming to United States.
Last we heard about LG V510 when the tech media world spotted some pictures of a leaked Google tablet boasting a 8-inch screen, accidentally outed by Google through some marketing material bunch. It was basically an early debut of Android 4.4. KitKat demo on a tablet.

Interesting part! it looked very similar to the likes of LG G Pad 8.3, while many tech analysts, at that point of time were predicting that Asus would be manufacturing Nexus 8 just like it happened for Nexus 7.
At the same time, just last week, a service manual for the V510 tablet got leaked around the web which stated that the upcoming tablet will be running on vanilla Android and not one of LG's skins, which again hints that the V510 is a Nexus device.

The concerning part was that newly leaked service manual revealed all the specifications which could be expected in Nexus 8 including 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.3mm dimension, 8.3 inch LCD display (1920 x 1200), 5MP rear-facing camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and 4,600mAh battery.
All these specifications clearly show that Google is gearing up to target the 8 inch tablet segment which is surging in the market with its upcoming Nexus 8. Which means, again two big names Google and Apple will come face to face as direct rival, because Apple iPad mini Retina has strongly occupied the 8 inch tablet market for right now. Hence, both the competitors will not leave any stone unturned to beef up the specs and come with their next best offerings for on-par sales.
