Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard mini: A New Rechargeable Screen Cover Launched For Apple iPad Mini

Computer accessory maker Logitech announced, the release of Ultrathin Keyboard mini, the new keyboard cover for the iPad. The keyboard has has battery life of three-months, assuming an average of two hours of daily usage, which is quite good, as it is substantially longer than the iPad mini's own battery.

The Keyboard connects to the iPad mini via Bluetooth. The top edge of the keyboard houses a magnetic compartment, to latch on to the iPad mini and hold it securely..The Keyboard places the iPad in a comfortable position and hence can be used as a hands-free viewing stand, as well.

The accessory is designed as a Easy Type keyboard, that is it has the same layout as any other traditional keyboard, but with smaller keys. The keyboard also packs in function keys such as play, pause, copy, and paste.

The keyboard automatically puts the tablet into sleep mode when it's cover is in closed position and automatically wakes up the tablet when the the cover is in open position. The device also has a rubber layer around the edges to prevent the keys from scratching the screen of your tablet, when in closed position.

Ultrathin Keyboard mini weighs in at only 220 grams, making it as portable as the iPad mini. If this is something you would be interested in, we have news for you.
