Mercury mTAB streaQ Duo Tablet with Dual SIM and Voice Calling Launched

After launching mTab 10 tablet back in September, now Kobian has launched its latest mTAB streaQ Duo tablet in India. The company has not reveal the price and availability of the 7 inch slate but it is already available on Infibeam at Rs. 10,049.

Going by the specs, the mTAB streaQ Duo comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch screen multi-touch display offering a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8577 processor coupled with 1GB DDR3 RAM. The tablet runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.1.

Connectivity options in the tablet include 3G (via SIM card slot), WiFi b/g/n, Blutooth 3.0 and GPS. Apart from this, it also houses dual SIM support (2G and 3G) with dual standby.

There is a 2MP rear camera incorporated in the device along with a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing shooter for video calls.

The tablet also houses an 8 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. And the device, which weighs 320 grams, draws its energy from a 3100 mAh battery.

Competition

The tablet will face a fierce competition against devices like, HCL ME Y3, iberry Auxus, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T210 Tablet, XOLO Play Tab 7.0 Tablet and more. Even, device like Nexus 7 will be its rival as it comes in a similar price range.
