Micromax Funbook Ultra HD P580 With 7.8-Inch Display Now Available For Rs 11,990
Micromax has already been releasing a number of devices in the Indian market off late. The company's hybrid tablet device LapTab which was announced earlier this year at the International Consumer Electronics Show, is yet to be made available.
Now the company has released its latest budget tablet called the Funbook Ultra HD P580. Micromax has also listed a latest smartphone on its official website recently. The device is currently available in black with white color variants from online retailer HomeShop18 at the price of Rs. 11,990.

Going by the specs of the latest tablet device, the Funbook Ultra HD P580 comes with a large 7.8-inch IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with a 1GB RAM. The device runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box.

In the imaging department, you will find a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front-facing shooter for video conferencing and taking selfies.
The native storage unit rests at 8GB but is expandable up to 32 GB via MicroSD card.
Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth , GPS / aGPS. It should be noted that the device comes with a 3G SIM card slot and has an ear piece with voice calling capabilities as well. It comes powered by a 3600 mAh battery.
Micromax has not launched the device officially in the Indian market as of now but since it has already been offered by the third party vendor, it is likely to get launched soon.
The device looks pretty decent at the given price but it looks quite similar to the company's Canvas Tab P650 which was released last year.
