MWC 2014: HP Pavilion x360, ElitePad 1000 And ProPad 600 Launched
Known for its Pavilion range of PCs, HP is trying to find its way into enterprise focused tablet business. Today, the company has introduced three new devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Spain.
HP's latest lineup include: two enterprise-oriented business tablets, alongside a convertible touch laptop.
The Windows 8.1 powered machines target SMEs. Hence, these business oriented tablet will be priced economically.
The HP ElitePad 1000 tablet is said to be available next month at a starting price of $739 (Rs. 46,000 approximately), while the HP ProPad 600 tablet will go on sale in April.
On the other hand, the HP Pavilion x360 will be made available in US at a price point of $399 (Rs. 25,000 approximately).
HP Pavilion x360: Highlighted Specifications
At this year's MWC tech event, HP managed to bring a convertible touch laptop. The Pavilion x360 appears to look identical to Lenovo's Yoga range of laptops. Users can use the laptop in regular mode or flip mode. On the surface, the device packs an 11.6-inch HD display having a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. Under the hood, we can see a 2.17GHz Intel Bay Trail-M processor, 4GB of RAM and 500GB of internal hard-disk. It will go on sale in US starting February 28th starting $399 (Rs. 25,000 approximately).

HP ElitePad 1000: Highlighted Specifications
The ElitePad 1000 isn't different from the original ElitePad 900. Now, the new model comes with aluminum clad design, thus making it more sophisticated. The device boasts of a 10-inch Full HD display having a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Bay Trail processor (64-bit), LTE Radio, USB 3.0, and a whopping 10 hours of battery backup.
HP ProPad 600: Highlighted Specifications
The ProPad 600 offers a 10.1-inch display having a resolution of 1920x 1200 pixels.. Most likely it will be priced on an affordable side. HP hasn't specified the retail price of ProPad 600 just yet. This mid-range tablet will feature a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quad-core processor powered by Intel Atom Z3795, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage with expandable storage, amongst other essential connectivity options.
