New Tablets To Expect in 2015: What Will Apple, Samsung and Microsoft Launch?

Research firm IDC said global tablet sales for the full year rose just 4.4 % for the year to 229.6 million units, after a jump of more than 50 % in 2013.

After all the hyped surrounding tablets, the market has slowed as consumers are done away with tablet devices.

"The iPhone 6 products are putting pressure on the iPad Mini and the continued success of the Mac could be inhibiting some iPad Air 2 growth," said Eric Smith, analyst at Strategy Analytics.
