As the Nokia World event scheduled on October 22 in Abu Dhabi is fast approaching, leaked images of the company's upcoming devices have been surfacing online only weeks ahead of their announcement. A couple of hours ago, Lumia 1520 leaked online in the form of two images. Now, a Chinese site has posted the image of Lumia 2520 again ahead of its October 22nd announcement.
The Windows RT running tablet, Lumia 2520, in the recently leaked image doesn't appear as clear as the one that had leaked earlier. However, the image reveals a presence of a kickstand very much similar to the Microsoft's Surface slates. The image also shows the company's standard styled SIM card tray and a possible volume rocker at the two sides of the tablet's side.
But the image of the same tablet with the Verizon branded version, that had appeared online couple of days ago, didn't come with a kickstand nor did FCC diagrams hint at it. So the dilemma arises here. However, the device will be unveiled soon and one can then find out whether the slate will come with a kickstand or not.
Apart from the kickstand, a possible volume rocker and a SIM Card slot, details regarding the display have also been published on the same Chinese site. Moreover, there are a couple of sharp colored Nokia Wallpapers images that were leaked at the same time. These wallpapers come with a 1080x1920 pixels of resolution, hinting that a Full HD panel of Lumia 2520.
As far as the specs are concerned, so far, the FCC document did confirm EDGE, 3G and LTE connectivity, so the slate will have a SIM slot.
Other rumored specs consists of 10.1 inch Full HD display Windows RT, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB RAM, 32GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot), 6.7-mega pixel PureView rear facing camera and a 2MP front facing camera, USB 2.0 and HDMI.
