SAKRI Launches 8 and 10-inch Windows 8.1 WINTAB Tablets At Rs 13,999 and Rs 20,999 in India

Here comes a new entrant in the Windows Tablet market in India. Sakri IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. which is a Pune based company has partnered with Microsoft and Intel to launch Windows 8.1 based tablets in India. Powered by Intel processors the new tablets are meant to hit the Indian market along with Malaysia and Bangladesh.

The tablets that fall in WINTAB come dubbed as Sakri 8-inch WINTAB (TVE81J) and Sakri 10-inch WINTAB (TVE869J). The Sakri 8-inch and 10.1-inch WINTAB Windows 8.1 tablets come in Aluminium Black and White colors and are priced at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 20,999, respectively. These tablet would be available across India at leading IT and mobile retail stores and come with 1 year unit level replacement warranty. Moreover, these also come with one-year subscription of Office 365 personal plus.

Sakri 8-inch WINTAB (TVE81J): Key Specifications

The Sakri 8-inch WINTAB sports an 8-inch multi-touch IPS display offering a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

It is powered by a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735D processor coupled with a 1GB LPDDR3 RAM. Obviously, as the name suggests, it runs on Windows 8.1 OS with Bing search.
The latest tablet houses 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. In terms of camera, the users will get to see a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing snapper as well.

The Sakri 8-inch WINTAB which measures 213.8×127.86×8.6mm and weighs 330grams also supports 3G (via SIM card slot), WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI, microUSB and is powered by a 3,800mAh battery.

Sakri 10-inch WINTAB (TVE869J): Key Specifications

The Sakri 10-inch WINTAB (TVE869J) on the other hand is a larger sibling of the former one. It employs a larger 10.1-inch multi-touch IPS display offering a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

It is powered by a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735D processor coupled with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and runs on Windows 8.1 OS with Bing search. It houses 32GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. And sports a 2MP rear and front facing snapper.

The Sakri 10-inch WINTAB that measures 260.5×174.9×10.5mm and weighs 675grams also comes with connectivity options like 3G (via dongle), WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI, and microUSB. Lastly, it is powered by a 7500mAh battery.

Sakri has also partnered with Flipick to provide adaptive learning online courses for higher education and competitive exams like CAT, JEE, AIPMT, Banking and CPT. The course content includes interactive reading material, recorded video lectures, animations, formative assessments and digital analytics.
