Samsung had the chance to show Galaxy Note 3 at London event. Instead the South Korean giant announced a mix of Windows and Android running devices. One among them is a hybrid tablet - it supports Windows 8 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean at the same time.

The Samsung Ativ Q boosts of a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. This makes the Ativ Q even higher than iPad 4, if we consider it as a tablet. Otherwise also it beats the resolution of Apple MacBook Pro and Toshiba Kirabook. Samsung is yet to share the exact pricing details along with release date.

The concept of hybrid devices is not new. Earlier also Chinese major Lenovo and HP had announced their respective hybrid devices. The Samsung Ativ Q has a stunning 13.3-inch display with resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels, making it the most poised tablet in the market.

Being a Windows 8 running tablet, it comes with a Keyboard. It is a common trend to see hybrids having an attached QWERTY keyboard or sometimes companies sell keyboard at an extra cost. Another noted highlight of Ativ Q is that there is no need to reboot the device, if you want to switch between Android and Windows. Samsung has also added a stylus along with the tablet.

On the specifications side, you will notice that the Ativ Q packs Intel i5 Core processor, the latest Haswell ones. There's a 4GB of inbuilt RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4400, and up to 256GB solid -state drive, and a 720p HD front facing camera.
