Early this year, Samsung announced Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 at the Mobile World Congress 2012 and released it into the market in the Q3 for a price of Rs 31,990. However, for those consumers who have felt that the tablet was priced high, there is an exciting news. It seems like the price of the tablet has been slashed as Saholic, an online retailer has listed the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for Rs 25,900.
Moreover, there are widespread speculations that the next generation Apple tablets - iPad Mini and iPad 4 will be released into the Indian market today and hence, there are speculations that Samsung has suddenly slashed the price the price of the 10 inch tablet as a step to compete with the iPad Mini and iPad 4.

When it comes to iPad Mini, the tablet comes with a 7.9 inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, 1GHz dual core Apple A5 processor, 5MP iSight rear camera, 1.2MP front camera for video calling, iOS 6, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, Lightning port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 16.3 Whr Li-Po battery delivering up to 10 hours backup.
Going by the recent reports, iPad Mini will be priced at Rs 21,900 and Rs 29,900 for 16GB Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+Cellular, Rs 27,900 and Rs 35,900 for 32GB Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+Cellular and Rs 33,900 and Rs 41,900 for 64GB Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+Cellular models respectively.
