Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo Tablet Launched for Rs 16,490

Samsung has been quite busy with its new devices and the on-going company's Forum 2014 event taking place in Bali, Indonesia. However, after the Galaxy Grand 2 and the Galaxy Grand Neo, now the South Korean Smartphone maker has officially released its latest tablet called the Galaxy Tab 3 Neo in the Indian market at ta price of Rs. 16,490.

Talking about the specs, the new Galaxy Tab 3 Neo comes with a 7-inch display offering a WSVGA resolution of 600×1024 pixels. The WiFi variant of the device measures 116.4 x 193.4 x 9.7mm and weighs 310grams.

It is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Neo comes with 8GB of internal storage and can be expanded via microSD card.

It features a 2-megapixel rear camera and it seems the tablet lacks a front facing shooter which could be an unfortunate aspect of the device.

The Galaxy Tab 3 Neo is powered by a 3,600mAh battery which Samsung claims will last for 8 hours of continuous video playback. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. Also the 3G variant of the device would be made available.

When it comes to software features, you will get to see almost all the Samsung Apps, Samsung Kies, Samsung TouchWiz, Samsung Hub (MR), ChatON: mobile communication service (Download), Samsung Link, Samsung Voice, Dropbox, Polaris Office, Flipboard.

Apart from that, there will be a Google support which will allow the users to use services like Chrome, Search, Gmail, Google+, Maps, Play Books Play Movies, Play Music, Play Store, Hangouts Voice Search, YouTube, Google Settings in the tablet.
