Remember the 4th Generation Galaxy Tab series from Samsung that was unveiled back in April. Guess what, the product has finally been listed on the company's official eStore. The devices which come dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 would be available in Black and White colors at the price of Rs. 23,960 and Rs. 30,498, respectively.
Although, these tablets are currently not in stock but are likely bto e available starting this week. Moreover, Samsung could also launch the WiFi variants of these tablets later.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0
Going by the specs individually, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 (SM-T331) comes with an 8.0-inch (1280 x 800 pixel) WXGA display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box.
You will get a 3MP fixed Focus rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing shooter as well. As far as the storage capacity is concerned, the Tab 4 8 inch comes with 16GB of internal memory, which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD .
Connectivity options include, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, and GLONASS. The tablet which measures 7.9mm thick and weighs 323g is powered by a 4,450mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 (SM-T531) features a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixel) WXGA display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Processor, 1.5GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). You will get a similar 3MP Fixed Focus rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing shooter like in the 8-incher. Also internal storage and connectivity options are similar. However, the only two differences are the weight of the tablet as this one is tad heavier with 495g and comes with better battery with 6,800mAh capacity compared to the 8-inch Tab 4.
