Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 With 64-bit Processor Reportedly Leaked Ahead of Launch

Samsung has been rumoured to launch a new slew of tablet devices in the first half of 2015. According to a recent report, Samsung's 2015 tablet line-up will include at least four new slates, which will be part of the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note lineup.

The latest leak has surfaced from tech blog SamMobile depicting new variant of the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, which according to a report will feature a Snapdragon 410 processor under the hood (64-bit). Apparently, the report shows that the tablet is a re-incarnated version of the original Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, featuring updated hardware.

As far as its specifications are concerned, the forthcoming tablet is expected to an 8-inch WXGA (1280×800 pixels) display, 1.5GB of RAM, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB internal storage, microSD card support , and a Snapdragon 410 processor. The tablet should run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

The tech site also spotted yet another Samsung-made tablet with SM-T533 model number at the Bluetooth SIG certification website. Reportedly, the 10.1-inch tablet comes with a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor. It seems to be a revamped version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.0.

The unconfirmed tablets from Samsung will rival the likes of Apple iPad Mini 3 and Google Nexus 9.

Both tablets are speculated to have 3G or 4G connectivity and Samsung has yet to confirm or announce the release of the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and 10.0.
