Samsung is long overdue for another big-ticket tablet in the Galaxy lineup, and a freshly leaked rumor about the Galaxy Tab 5 has been making waves ahead of CES 2015. The leaked report comes only a day after Sony's alleged 12.9-inch tablet was allegedly leaked.
While rumors have been swirling since over the past few months, all the leaks are starting to take shape this month. Today though, according to a report out of the Netherlands, Samsung is rumored to be working on a 10-inch Galaxy Tab 5 tablet. Apparently, the purported Samsung Galaxy Tab 5 tablet has leaked on Indian import tracking portal - Zauba.
The tablet with model number SM-T555 seems to have been imported to India for evaluation purposes by Samsung. The device is said to feature a 5.5-inch display and dual-SIM support.
According to the portal listing, the device costs around $354. The price indicates that this tablet could end up being a mid-end tablet offering from Samsung with above average specifications. Reportedly, the tablet is said to come with Android 5.0 and a 64-bit processor under the hood.
As of now, there's no more info or rumors regarding the highlighted spec sheet of the leaked tablet device. Rumor has it Samsung will announce the new Galaxy Tab 5 sometime in January next month, and release it the same month.
