We wish we had more to say on this. But, apparently, the new range of Samsung Galaxy Tab S series is set to look like, well, just another Samsung tablet from the recent past. And while that isn't necessarily a bad thing for most fans, we are still indeed expecting more.

Heading deeper into the design factor, it seems like the series might sport the same kind of plastic shell as the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. However, images of the series with two circular indentations on the shell have caused several eyes to turn in recent times.

If we are to make assumptions from the official invite that was sent out for the event glorifying the series of tablets, Samsung has its "Tab into Color" event in New York on June 12, and the Galaxy Tab S is expected to be unveiled here. So there are no issues with believing that a new device is indeed coming in.

The new Tab S series of tablets are said to arrive with a much-improved TouchWiz Android overlay, And there's no reason why it will be anything otherwise. Even recent leaks have shown the device running Samsung's tablet-friendly magazine interface.

If the reports and leaks for the same are true, the Galaxy Tab S will be Samsung's first tablet to tout an AMOLED screen since the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. And if we indeed see the kind of screen we are guessing we will see, the new tablets could surpass both the iPad Air and Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.

As far as camera specs are concerned, leaks have stated that the Tab S will arrive with an 8MP shooter around back and a 2MP camera up front.

Going by the rumors, the Tab S will come touting Samsung's very own octo-core Exynos 5 processor. To be more precise, the device is said to run on four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores.

The Galaxy Tab S will come in three varieties of storage capacity: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. And so a difference in price, obviously, is expected in time.
