By now you must have already heard about the new tablet range that Samsung is said to launch at the June 12th event that's taking place in New York. And if you are not aware, it is the Galaxy Tab S line. Now the same series of tablet has been leaked one more time but this time the leaked document, which comes courtesy of the serial tech-bound leakster @evleaks, features more information on the availability of the device.
According to a leaked retailer roadmap, we know when the Galaxy Tab S devices will likely go on sale. As revealed, the first teaser for the devices will be posted on the day before the press event, June 12. Then, pre-orders will open on the day of the event (June 13), at "a few select retailers".
Only on June 27, two weeks from the press event, the tablets will go up for sale at retail locations and on the website of this unknown retailer. One of the confusing thing here is that the image notes this date as a Sunday, but in normal calender it is actually a Friday.
In the leaked image we can also see a small image of the device and a KitKat Android logo. It should probably come in two color variants.
Though we don't have much information about the specs of the Tab S as of now, but is is reportedly said to come in two variants depending on the display size, which is Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4.
The Tab S 10.5 and Tab S 8.4 reportedly offer AMOLED displays with 1,600 x 2,560 pixels. Other common features should include 3GB of RAM, Samsung's own octa-core Exynos 5420 processor, and fingerprint sensors. It was revealed that the Galaxy Tab 8.4 is only 6.5mm-thin. Both new tablets will probably cost a bit more than the devices included in Samsung's Galaxy Tab Pro line.
