Samsung Galaxy Tab S With Flip Cover Leaks Ahead of June 12 Announcement
We have already seen Samsung's Galaxy Tab S in the recent past via leaked images, but the device which is scheduled to get unveiled at the Galaxy Premiere 2014 event tomorrow at the Madison Square Garden in New York has once again leaked. The several images that have been leaked comes courtesy of the Samsung-bound news site SamMobile.
What's interesting about this particular leak is that it also shows us the new Flip Covers, which makes use of the proprietary connectors embedded in the back panel of the tablet. This is a completely new cover that the tablet will come with. Also it should be noted that the Galaxy Tab S series consist of Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Galaxy Tab S 8.4.

Galaxy Tab S is said to come with the WQXGA (2560×1600) Super AMOLED display which will be first of its kind. It will also be the company's first tablet device to feature a fingerprint sensor.
The Galaxy Tab S will be powered by an Octa-core Exynos 5 (5420) SoC with ARM's big.LITTLE technology (four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores) and a 6-core ARM Mali-T628 GPU clocked at 533MHz coupled with a 3GB of 32-bit dual-channel 933 MHz LPDDR3e RAM. The device will come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Samsung's latest Magazine UX.
Imaging will also be pretty amazing in the device as it is reportedly said to use an 8.0-Megapixel (3264×2448) camera sensor with 1080p Full HD video recording at the rear side and a 2.1-Megapixel (1920×1080) front facing camera. This is somewhat better than few of the mid-range smartphones offer.
Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 LE / ANT+, GPS, GLONASS and MicroUSB 2.0 port. Moreover, what is even interesting is that the tablet will also feature an IR blaster which means that it comes with a capability to control your TV using Samsung's WatchON service.
Very much like what Galaxy S5 smartphone offers, this particular tablet is also said to feature the Ultra Power Saving Mode, Remote PC, ability to take calls from a connected phone right on the tablet, Download Booster, and more.
