Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 To Be Thinner and More Charismatic Than iPad Air 2?

It's been clear for a while that the tablet market is slowing down. Although Apple expanded its iPad lineup with the launch of the iPad Air 2, Samsung, meanwhile, hasn't launched any new tablets in the second half of 2014. Now, the latest rumours suggest that Samsung might launch a potential competitor to the Apple iPad Air 2.

According to a report from SamMobile, Samsung is in advance stages to produce a new tablet to rival Apple's iPad Air 2. Furthermore, the iPad Air 2 killer from Samsung - is expected to be thinner and possibly come with a metal frame.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 To Be Thinner  Than iPad Air 2?

There has been much speculation that that the Galaxy Tab S2 would closely resemble to the iPad Mini 3/iPad Air 2 respectively. The report further said that the new slate will be possibly launched in two screen sizes: 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch. Not just that, both displays will offer a "squarish 4:3 aspect ratio", notes SamMobile.

If even half these rumours hold out to be true, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will be high-powered, capable, and staunch competition against the Apple iPad Air 2.

While MWC is the recognised time for a Galaxy S launch, and the Berlin-based IFA conference is firmly Note unveiling. We're expecting the Galaxy Tab S2 to launch around June- July time frame.
