After the Project Zero came into highlight, most of the Samsung fans around the globe now knows that its not just the Galaxy A series that the South Korean tech giant is working on but at the same time, it is also working on another smartphone series - probably the Galaxy S6.
However, in the tablet arena, if the report from South Korea that came a couple of days back is to be followed, Samsung could also launch a new tablet by the end of this year, which is highly suspect, as there are just 2 months of the year remaining.
Anyways, if not this year, early 2015 is where we can reside our expectation to at the moment. What could possibly be a new thing in the tablet in question is the size, which none in the tablet industry has tried before.
According to the report from South Korea, Samsung is planning to launch a tablet with a 13-inch screen. Although, details about the alleged tablet are still vague, it is being speculated that the Korean giant might use an LCD display instead of a Super AMOLED one.
Further, if this report turns out to be true, Samsung will have to fight with Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 and several other tablet/laptop hybrid devices from PC makers. Moreover, if you are wondering how the competition will be in the 13-inch category, don't worry, there will be options.
Because, even Apple and Sony are said to be working on 12-inch tablets which are targeted towards professionals. Obviously, there were rumors that even Microsoft will be coming with the 13-Inch Surface Pro tablet soon. Thus, there is going to be quite a scene in the 13-Inch tablet category in the coming months.
GizBot will be keeping track of the upcoming 13-Inch tablets and will shortly let you know as soon as we get more information on the device. Until then stay tuned to us!
