Finally, Sony has announced the Xperia Z Tablet on Wednesday this week and the Sony's biggest tablet bet is already up for pre-order on Infibeam.com and Flipkart.com in India at a price of Rs 44,990. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z was first announced in January 2013 alongside Xperia Z and ZL smartphones.

Reportedly, Sony never confirmed the estimated 4.6 million sales of the Xperia Z phone, but the Japanese tech vendor said that Xperia Tablet Z's will be just as impressive. Both in terms of hardware and design, this much-anticipated 1080p tablet is the larger brother to the Xperia Z smartphone.

The 32GB Wi-Fi only Xperia Tablet Z has been listed in Infibeam at Rs. 44,990 and has stated that the tablet will be available from June 3, 2013 and Flipkart.com on the other hand has listed a 16GB 3G version for the same price. Both Flipkart and Infibeam are offering a free leather case with the purchase of this tablet.
