Sony Xperia Z Tablet Coming to India in 2Q13: Top 7 Reasons To Buy Waterproof Jelly Bean Tablet
Back in January at CES 2013, the tech world was aware of Sony's Xperia Tablet Z. Inspite of debut along with the Xperia Z smartphone, which has already hit the retail shelves in many countries, the tablet counterpart has been eluded from the spotlight until now.
However, now it seems that the Japanese tech giant is all set to surge the Android tablet market very soon. At the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2013, Sony revealed its launch plans regarding its Xperia Tablet Z, which was first introduced for the Japanese market last month.
According to the company, the tablet will be available globally in Q2 2013. Moreover, Sony also announced the roll out of its Xperia Z smartphone in stores worldwide from today.
According to media reports, the 16GB variant of the tablet will be priced at $499 (approx. Rs 27,000) and the 32GB variant will cost $599 (approx. Rs 32,000) respectively.

Claimed to be the slimmest tablet launched so far, Xperia Z tablet measures 6.9 mm in thickness and packs a 10.1 inch Reality Display with a full HD screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, 1.5GHz quad core processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 8MP Exynos R rear camera, 2MP front camera for video chatting, 16GB/32GB onboard storage, 2GB RAM, a micro SD card slot supporting expandable storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, LTE and a 6,000 mAh battery.

Sony Media applications
Sony media applications including Walkman, Album and Movies offer a consistent entertainment experience across a range of Sony devices. Walkman application provides access to all downloaded music, a library of 18 million songs to explore from Music Unlimited and Facebook social integration. Movies application gives consumers access to over 100,000 movies and TV series from Video Unlimited while the Album application enables easy access to Facebook friends' photos as well as browsing photos by location.
