Japanese electronics giant may have leaked the release date of its much-awaited tablet device, the Xperia Z4 Tablet. Sony has apparently confirmed its next-generation tablet will be showcased at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) tech event in Barcelona.
XperiaBlog has found details of the alleged Xperia Z4 Tablet device within the official Xperia Lounge app. Although the leaked information has been deleted, the tech site was able to fetch the exact launch date of the said device.
The alleged listing also confirms that the device will in fact sport Sony's typical mobile design philosophy. What‘s more, the Xperia Z4 Tablet will feature a 2K resolution display, coupled with the ultra-fast processor, and "industry-leading battery performance."
The leaked picture of the tablet, as seen above, looks rather similar to the Xperia Z3 Tablet, which made its debut at IFA tech show in September 2014. However, this time around, a large screen model with a Snapdragon 810 processor could be expected.
Previous rumors in the past have claimed that Sony would launch a tablet (dubbed, "Xperia Tablet Ultra"), though it's not clear whether the device would have a 12.9-inch screen size.
We can't wait for Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week, and you can rest assured that we'll be on the ground in Barcelona to bring you all the news as it happens.
