Toshiba has unveiled two of its tablet models dubbed as Encore 2 Write. The Encore 2 tablets will come with a pressure-sensitive pen and an ultra-responsive screen for more paper-like precision.
The company has revealed the Encore 2 Write WT10PE-A which flaunts an 8 inch and Encore 2 Write WT8PE-B with an 10.1 inch display (1280×800). Both tablets are based on Windows 8.1 and use an Intel Atom processor. The tablets contain 2GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and battery life of up to 11 hours.
The Encore 2 Write tablets has a multi-touch screen in-built with innovative sensor technology that supports sharp pen strokes so that a user can write more naturally on the tablet's surface, Both the tablets will have the priviledge of one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365, along with preinstalled TruNote handwriting application. Toshiba Encore 2 Write tablets will be on sale from January 11th starting at $349.99 (approx Rs. 22,123) for the 8-inch variant and $399.99 (approx Rs. 25,292) for the 10-inch version in "satin gold flavour".
