Videocon Launches 7-inch Tablet With Voice Calling Facility at Rs 8,999
Leading Indian consumer electronics manufacturer, Videocon has launched its latest 7 inch tablet at Rs. 8,999. However the company had listed the device couple of days ago on its official website. The tablet which comes dubbed as VT85C is also capable of making voice calls and supports 3G which is one of the most searched feature. The device is already selling on eBay India at the price of Rs. 8,799.
Going by the specs, Videocon's VT85C tablet comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor coupled with 1GB DDR3 RAM. The tablet runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.
Moving on to the imaging technology, the Android device features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing VGA camera.
The connectivity options remain regular with 3G, Wi-Fi: 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS/AGPS can be fund. It has a SIM card slot for 3G connectivity and a ear piece for voice calling.
The tablet has the internal storage capacity of 4GB but can be further expanded up to 32GB with microSD card. The 10 mm thick tablet draws its power from a 3000 mAh battery.
The device is also preloaded with a range of applications like Facebook, OperaMini, Vstore, Hungama and more. The Videocon VT85C comes in White color and is priced at Rs. 8,799.
