At an ongoing Delhi event today, Xiaomi is marking its grand debut in India. Yes, the China-based tech manufacturer has launched not only one but four new devices in India altogether.

Firstly, of course its the much-anticipated and most-acclaimed Xiaomi Mi3 which has already hit the pre-orders online. Along with the same, Xiaomi has also introduced RedMi 1S, Red Mi Note and Mi Pad tablet.

Out of the three, the Xiaomi MiPad is said to be coming soon, also the price of the tablet is yet to be released. This is one tablet which comes with the iPad Mini Retina Display capabilities and gives a tough competition to Apple in the foreign market.

Xiaomi MiPad: Key Specifications

MiPad comes with a 7.9-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) display at 326 ppi with 4:3 aspect ratio. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display is manufactured by Sharp / AUO. The is powered by a massive 2.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 192-core Kepler GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM. The latest slate runs on Android-based MiUI ROM optimized for tablets.

It's not only the power of the tablet that is impressive, but also at the same time, Xiaomi has offered a standard imagining hardware in the tablet. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with 5-element lens, Sony BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture. Also add a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with OmniVision sensor and f/2.0 aperture at the front face of the device. Xiaomi has not left any loopholes in the tablet.

It houses a 16GB / 64GB of internal storage unit and is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Connectivity option is limited to WiFi 802.11/b/g/n/ac Dual Band (2X2 MIMO). The tablet measures 8.5mm thick and weighs 360 grams and comes powered by a monstrous 6700 mAh battery.
