Apparently, after the Xiaomi Mi Pad which sports a 7.9-inch display was launched, many rumors regarding a new tab which would replace the Mi Pad, surfaced up on the Internet.
Leaked live images of the alleged Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 have hit the Internet. The supposed future tablet has borrowed design elements from the Mi Note/Mi Note Pro flagship phablet pair, resulting in a more refined look than the all-plastic predecessor.

One might even go to the lengths of saying that the upcoming Mi Pad 2 is actually a Mi Note that has been stretched to Mi Pad proportions.
The rumor points to it, packing a similar glass back as well as having a slightly curved front panel. In addition, the overall layout of the front does share a very close family resemblance with its central earpiece and sensor arrangement.
