Dubbed 'Xolo Win', the tablet will hit India later this month at an undisclosed price. The AMD powered tablet is targeted at working professionals and youth.

The other day, India's second largest smartphone maker, Micromax, launched its first dual-boot 10-inch tablet at the CES 2014.

Talking about the specifications, the Xolo Win features a 10.1-inch display having a resolution of 1366 x768. It will be powered by 1.0 GHz dual-core processor "Temash" Generation and AMD Radeon HD 8180G Graphics, backed by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. The tablet does come with a 2MP rear-facing camera and a VGA quality front-facing camera. The makers have added a 3,550mAh battery fitted inside. The battery will last up to 7 hours, as per the official press release.

"Providing superior product experience is at the core of XOLO's proposition to its target customers, hence joining hands with a technology leader like AMD makes perfect sense. With AMD's unique Accelerated Processing Unit (APU), featuring both a CPU & GPU on a single piece of silicon, we look forward to this strategic partnership to provide the best performance and graphics on mobile devices." said Mr Vishal Sehgal, Co-founder and Director, Lava International Ltd.

XOLO Win expands the usage of tablets with its great battery life, solid performance and superior graphics at a price point that redefines the tablet space." said Mr. Ravi Swaminathan, Managing Director, AMD India.

Of course, the expectation from Xolo Win is immense at this moment. However, we would've expected large battery found under the hood. Well, the success of Xolo Win is entirely dependent on the price, and nationwide retail availability.
