Zync Quad 10.1 Announced: Specifications, Price, Competition and More
NCR-based Zync is back with yet another quad-core tablet. Earlier this year, the tech vendor has come with India's first 8-inch and 9.7-inch quad-core tablets. Both received bumper response from critics. Now Zync has announced Quad 10.1 for Rs. 14,990.
The Zync Quad 10.1 features a 10.1-inch Full HD LCD display with resolution of 1920 X 1200 pixels, 1.5-Ghz quad-core processor. Mali-400 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card, Android 4.1 Jelly bean, a 5-mega pixel rear facing camera with Auto Focus, 2-mega pixel front facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, HDMI port, 8,000mAh Li Ion battery, and weighs 471g.

"After seeing the success of the Quad 8 and the quad 9.7 tablets, Zync is now entirely targeting the high-end affordable tablet market in the country. This Quad 10.1 tablet is packed with premium features and is being offered to the consumer at a very affordable price." said Amul Mohan Mittal, Co-Founder, Zync Global.
At this price point, it's a steal, as getting a 10-inch quad-core tablet under Rs.15, 000 seems impossible. While the Asus Nexus 7 is available at Rs. 15,999, but it does not come with a 10-inch Full HD display, HDMI port, a 5MP rear camera, and large 8,000mAh battery.
