Zync, an India based manufacturer of budget tablets has launched Z99 2G, its first 2G tablet with voice calling feature at Rs 6,990. Lately, Zync came up with Z1000, a 9.7 inch tablet with a SIM card slot for voice calling facility.

Processor: In this segment, the tablet has 1.2GHz processor and Mali 400 3D GPU.
OS: The device is flavored with Android 4.0 ICS operating system like the other budget tablets in the market.
Camera: Z99 2G comes with a dual 0.3MP front and rear camera.
Storage: When it comes to storage, the Zync offering has 512MB RAM, 4GB onboard storage and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage.
Connectivity: In terms of data connectivity, the tablet comes packed with features such as in-built Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, micro USB and 3G through dongle.
Battery: Z99 2G is loaded with a 3,000 mAh battery.
Zync Z99 2G is preloaded with BigFlix, Skype, WhatsApp, MSN, Aldiko e-book reader and Adobe Reader.

When it comes to competition, the latest Zync tablet with 2G voice calling feature will be standing as a direct competitor to the recently launched Panel tablet dubbed as Penta T-Pad WS703C.
Talking about specs, Penta T-Pad WS703C comes with TF card expansion slot, voice call feature, 7 inch 3D enabled capacitive touch screen, front and rear cameras, HDMI ports, an extra long battery life and much more. Further, Penta T-Pad WS703C will come loaded with 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, inbuilt 2G SIM slot and also 3G Dongle compatibility.
Priced at Rs 6,999, the Pantel offering comes with 3D support and HDMI port.
