iBall Slide WQ149R 10.1 inch 2-in-1 with Full Sized HDD Slot launched at Rs 16,499

Homegrown manufacturer iBall today launched a new 2-in-1 convertible in India dubbed the Slide WQ149R. The USP of the latest tablet from iBall lies in the provision of integrating a full sized HDD drive onto the main body thereby allowing users to enjoy a PC like experience.

The iBall Slide WQ149R features a 10.1 inch HD (800x1280p) IPS display upfront which gives it a Full Sized Notebook like stance. Under the hood the iBall Convertible is powered by a 64bit Intel Atom Z3735F with four cores clocked at 1.83GHz. This is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There's also an option for memory expansion in the form of MicroSD card (upto 64GB).

However if storage is still your area of concern then need not worry as iBall has you covered. Apparently the iBall Slide WQ149R is the first 10.1 inch 2-in-1 convertible to feature a slot for attaching a Full Sized Hard Disk onto the detachable keyboard and touch pad.

The HDD slot supports a 2.5 inch slim SATA Hard drive (upto 1TB). This provision of HDD Slot allows you to load more movies than you can watch, more songs than you could listen and more documents you can work upon, offering the additional space for storage even while on-the-go!

In terms of camera the iBall Slide sports a 5MP rear equipped with a single LED Flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. It is powered by a large 7800mAh battery. Connectivity features include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and USB OTG support. It also comes with a Mini HDMI port for connecting and sharing multimedia content with other compatible devices as well as a Full Size USB port which can be used for connecting 3G Dongles.

The iBall Slide WQ149R runs on the latest Window 10 OS and will soon be available via offline stores across the country at a price of Rs 16,499.
